Are there any age restrictions? Age minimum 5, but if you have a few little ones that are younger they can of course come but will need some extra help from a parent.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount of attendees? Kid's Party: Minimum 10, Maximum 40. About 5-6 people fit at each lane.
How accessible is bowling for the young kids? We have light (6 pound) bowling balls available. We have bumpers available at every lane. Bumpers help the ball stay on the lane, this is valuable for the children with little bowling experience.
How much do shoe rentals cost? Shoe rentals are included with any party package at Garwood Lanes, however, for our young bowlers we encourage you to wear sneakers. If the kids wear sneakers then no shoe rental is necessary for a party. Sandals, Boots, Crocs, backless shoes are not permitted.
Can I decorate the Party Room? Yes you can. There will be tables and chairs set up with a standard white table cover on the tables. You can decorate the party room immediately leading up to your party (availability permitting) or at the very beginning.
Bowling Party FAQ
Are there any restrictions on decorations? Yes, absolutely no confetti is allowed in the building. Similarly no pinatas. No decorations that can or will cause any damage to wall paint or leave any markings of any kind.
How many people fit in the Party Room? 22 comfortably but accommodations can be made for larger parties.
Do you have any desserts or cake? No, you can bring a celebratory dessert of your choosing. Cupcakes are easiest but you are free to bring whatever you like.
Do you have paper plates, forks, napkins, etc. available for purchase? No we do not carry paper products or cutlery for parties, please bring your own.
Can I bring outside food and/or drink? Outside drinks are NEVER allowed in Garwood Lanes. Outside food is permitted for our Special Events Packages. Our Standard and Quick Kid's Parties do not allow for outside food.
What kind of deposit do I need to leave? For our Kid's Parties there is a $50 deposit due 1 week after you book to keep your place. Our Special Events packages require a $100 deposit 1 week after booking.
How can I pay the deposit? You may come in and pay your deposit with cash or check. You may also mail a check with your deposit.
When do I have to say how many people will be attending? Final head count for the party is required 3 days before party.
When do I pay the balance? The balance is due at the end of your party.
What payment methods do you accept? Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express or Apple Pay. There is a 3% processing fee for credit cards.
